Théodoret de Cyr

Théodoret (386 - 458), bishop of Cyr, in the province euphratésienne, born with Antioche, according to the ones in 386, according to others in 393, and died in 458, was one of most erudite and the most famous fathers of the Church.

Théodoret de Cyr wrote:

  • Lives of thirty recluses ,
  • Therapeutic in twelve speeches intended according to its " author; with guérir" (from where the title) prejudices of pagan against Christianity.
  • Ten sermons or speech of Providence,

  • Of the Letters, etc
