Théodora Porphyrogénète

Théodora , known as Porphyrogénète , is the girl of the Byzantine emperor Constantin VIII, born towards 980, dead the August 30th 1056.
She reigns with her sister Zoe with died of her father in 1028 during a few weeks but is exiled in a convent by Zoe and her husband Romain III. With the fall of Michel V (1042), it is called by the Sénat in order to again divide the throne with her sister but the remarriage of this one with Constantin IX Monomaque excludes it once again from the capacity.
With died of Constantin IX, it finally only reigns of the January 11th 1055 with the August 30th 1056, with perspicacity and energy, and indicates Michel VI, an old general, to succeed to him.
With it dies out the Dynastie Macedonian, and the historiographic period known as of the Renaissance Macedonian.
