Tex Willer is a character of Italian Cartoon created in 1948 by Gian Luigi Bonelli for the scenario and Aurelio Galeppini for the drawing. He is the hero of Fumetti most known at present and continuous to sell 200.000 specimens each month in kiosks in his country of origin.
In France
Tex knew many publications right after war, but in fact the editions Lug published it longest. Initially in the Complete Account sobrement entitled Tex then in the small size Rodeo until December 2003 when the withdrawal of the license to the French editor condemned the cow-boy to silence.More recently, Sémic left four albums large size the character taking again the Italian Tex Gigante .
Erko for its part, published the Tex Gigante drawn by Joe Kubert by colorisant it and by dividing it into 4 albums.
Cinema
Tex Willer knew an adaptation to the cinema left to France under the title Tex and the lord the abysses . Success was not truly with go, but the fans of the series seek the VHS with frenzy while waiting for a hypothetical exit in DVD.
