Teutberge of Arles

Teutberge of Arles called also Theutberge or Thiberge of Arles , (c.887 - † front Sept. 948),

It is the girl of Théobald of Arles, count of Arles and Berthe, girl of Lothaire II; she is the sister of Hugues of Arles (c.882- † 947), count de Provence and king d' Italie and of Boson of Arles (885- † 936), count de Provence.

Biography

She marries in 908 Garnier (or Warnarius), (born towards 885 dead on December 6th 924 as a combatant the Viking S with the battle of Chalmont, between Milly-the-Forest and Barbizon), count (or Viscount) of Direction, count de Troyes from 895 to 896.

She has four children:

  • Manassès of Arles (? - † 962), archbishop of Arles (920-962), then of Milan, by which it is known
  • Theuberge de Sens (909 - after 962)
  • Fromond Ier, count de Sens (towards 914 - 951)
  • Berthe de Sens (915 -)
