Tetricus II the young person

Tétricus the Young person is the son of Tetricus. Nothing him is known if not that it was associated with his father with the capacity in the Empire of Gaules and that it appeared with him in the Triomphe of Aurélien in the end of the year 274.

The writer of the Histoire Auguste felt obliged to devote a biography to him, undoubtedly by preoccupation with an analogy with the others of work (both Valérien S, both Gallien S, both Maximin S etc). But this life is filled of inventions of the author and imaginations. She tells that the emperor would have called Tetricus as colleague with imperium and would have made of the two men of the consular senators. The passage which speaks about it is whimsical and certainly to reject like forgery. This says correcture allotted by Aurélien to Tetricus senior gives him at least the capacities of a governor of province of second level (Propréteur). One knows nothing more about this character.
