Tetra Laval

Tetra Laval S.A. is a group Swedish created in 1993 by Tetra Pak following the purchase of the companies Alfa Laval and DeLaval.

It is specialized in the field of conditioning in the Agroalimentaire, in particular of the liquid (water, milk, fruit juice…), of the treatment of the milk and lines of conditioning and Packing.

History

  • 1991, Purchase of Esparto Laval and DeLaval by Tetra Pak
  • 1993, the group is called Tetra Laval Group
  • 2000, Vente of Alfa Laval with the group of investment Industri Kapital .
  • 2003, Purchase of the group French Sidel for 1,5 billion euros
  • 2005, Purchase of the companies Simonazzi , Esparto and Meyer/Mojonnier which belonged to the group Suisse SIG.

  • Packaging paperboard with Tetra Pak
  • Packaging plastic with Sidel
  • Equipment for dairy with DeLaval

Donation

  • In 2006, Tetra Laval makes a Swedish donation of 4,7 million crowns (that is to say 512.000 euros) with the natural history museum of history of Lund.
