Tethytheria
The téthythériens ( Tethytheria ) are Mammifère S Altongulés, which means that they have an even number of Doigt S with the posterior legs. They gather the Siréniens and the Proboscidiens. Their main feature is to have Orbite S Oculaire S very in front of the Crâne and thus brought back on the front face of the head.
Systematic
Formerly classified in the group of the Ongulés, after genetic studies, they were classified in the sub-order of the Afrotheria after this one had been created.Phylogenetic
