Test of control

A test of control not to be confused with the contractual test makes it possible to check the page layout, framing, the positioning and the dimension of the components of a page. Without to guarantee with certainty of the colorimetry of the images nor of conformity to the Standard of Impression it makes it possible to avoid errors and a waste of time before pulling is not carried out.

Several types of tests can be obtained. An exit of Imprimante laser color, that it is or not of high-resolution, is never a reliable reference of the color which will be obtained under press, not more than the image which a monitor returns. Indeed, those manage the colors differently from press offset.

  • the pressmatch numerical , gauged according to the profiles of the press and faithful from 95 to 97% with the end result printed on glazed paper. It can be supplemented by a numerical blue which will make it possible to produce a model of the end product according to returned required.

It is a test of control advantageous and economic since it does not require a film exit.
Si of the corrections is required, according to their nature, another test is necessary. If the correction does not influence the colors of the document, a file pdf or a laser exit which will have been created starting from the backup file can be enough. The original pressmatch is preserved to be used as reference for the colors during the impression.
  • the numerical blue makes it possible to test the impression of the colors flat. Only the charters of colors flat (Pantone for example) will be able to indicate in a precise way to you the exact color which will be printed according to the selected number: no test is physically able to reproduce with exactitude these receipts of colors.
Référence right of the visual one which will be printed (but not colors), this test has it also the advantage of not requiring of film exit. To leave corresponding films, Dylux blue or the ozalid (created starting from films), a little more economic, can also be appropriate according to the situation.
