Test of Ishihara
The chromatic test of Ishihara is a test to detect the deficiencies of the colors red and green. It was named according to the name of its inventor, the doctor Shinobu Ishihara (1879-1963), professor with the Université of Tokyo, which published for the first time its tests in 1917.
The test is composed of a certain number of coloured boards, on which a circle made up of points of various sizes and slightly different colors, which are apparently laid out in a random way. The models of points are different by their colors and a number.
