Test of Fisher
Test of Fisher or equality of two Variance S
To test the equality of two variances one uses the test of Fisher, by submitting the report/ratio of the two variances and by checking that this report/ratio does not exceed a certain theoretical value which one seeks in the table of Fisher .
F = S ² has/S ² B
note: one places at the numerator largest of the two variances.
If F is larger than the theoretical value, the assumption of equality of the two variances is rejected.
