Teruel
Teruel is a town of Spain, place chief of the Province of Teruel, in the autonomous community of Aragon.
Built on a hill, at the south of Aragon, Teruel, in the old city, preserves a medieval inheritance of most interesting. The tower of the cathedral, like those of San Salvador, San Martín and San Pedro belong to a rich person architectural heritage of style mudéjar which is classified with the World heritage by UNESCO.
Teruel was also the place of one of the hardest battles of the Guerre of Spain (December 1937).
