Tertön Sogyal
Tertön Sogyal or Lérab Lingpa (1856 - 1926).
To escape religious persecutions, the Buddhist Tibetans had as a habit to hide the spiritual treasures ( gter-my in Tibetan or terma in Sanskrit) in various places of the Tibet and neighbouring. The spiritual Masters who make the discovery of it are called Tertön , and are more particularly related to the school Nyingmapa and Bönpo. Tertön Sogyal (1856-1926) near to the XIIIème Dalai Lama, also called Lerab Lingpa discovered the cycle of Vajrakilaja.
According to the teaching of Buddha, it is fundamental to be released from our negative frames of mind and thus obscure emotions which direct our existence, when well even that could seem one of the greatest prowesses. Tertön Sogyal estimates that to release itself this would not be that of only one negative emotion is a true miracle. Nearer to us one also counts Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoché (1910 - 1991) like Tertön discoverer of treasures.
