Terry Jones

Terry Jones (1942 with Colwyn Bay, Wales, the United Kingdom -) is a Acteur, Réalisateur, scenario writer and British writer . He is also one of the members of the troop of the Monty Python.

Biography

Graduate of St Edmund Hall of Oxford, Terry Jones appears for the first time on television, in 1967, in the series At Last the 1948 Show at the side of John Cleese, Michael Palin and Marty Feldman.

Parallel to its career of actor, he collaborates in many scenarios, always for British television, in particular for programs produced by David Frost.

He takes part then in the creation of the troop of Monty Python which is a considerable success with the televised series Monty Python' S Flying Circus . He was even the principal realizer of films of the troop.

Specialist in medieval history, he is the author of several reference books, but also of books intended for youth or of scenarios for works of fiction as The Crusades which recalls the history of the Croisade S. He also regularly writes political articles for the British press.

It will be noted that he interpreted God in the Creator of Albert Dupontel in 1999.

In 2004, it writes “Terry Jones' S War one the War one Terror”, translated into French by My war against " the war with terrorism " , edition Flammarion. Deliver denouncing the linguistic nonsenses used by the “Novlangue” of G.W. Bush, Tony Blair and the “Axis of the good”.
