Territorial intelligence

The territorial intelligence consists of the approach Systémique of a Territoire by the setting in network of its actors for his Sustainable development.

In practice, that results in data acquisitions complete on the environment and confrontation of the points of view of the local actors, in order to make the various policies applied more coherent.

The territorial intelligence is however a recent concept where the definitions can vary according to whether one is resulting from a geographical field of expertise, public installation or economy.

It would seem that there are thus 3 expressed different visions:

the territorial Intelligence it is:

1 - Economic intelligence controlled on the level of a territory, which consists in animating companies on the topic of the I.E. (collective operation, clusters, poles.) ; cf territorial economic Intelligence

2 - A Use by a territory (a community or a group of communities) of the techniques used by the economic intelligence as could do it a company (Strategy, Veille, influence.) who results in an exogenic and endogenous day before, operations of territorial marketing, in short a modern vision of economic development in connection with the space and economic organization of the territory.

3 - Another vision would be control " intelligent of a territoire" in its development compared to its social context, geographical, its resources and its space organization which veint rather of the experts as regards geographical management of the resources (geographers, town planners.) a vision which approaches durable economic development rather
