Lincoln worked little of time with Ecofield, before being laid off.

After the arrest of Lincoln, Steadman was obliged to hide, was confined in a house bought by his/her sister with the Montana. The house was designed to prevent Steadman from leaving. The windows are made out of glass the proof balls and the doors can be open only of outside. Moreover, the house is supervised permanently by agents of the Secret services. Only one restricted number people know that Steadman is still alive, even his wife is unaware of it. Caroline Reynolds and the Trust gave itself much evil to put in scene the death of Steadman: its teeth were torn off and placed in a body buried in the tomb of Steadman, in order to distort the analysis of the dental radios in the event of exhumation of the body.

The first nobody, apart from the conspiracy, which learns that Steadman is always in life is Veronica Donovan. It is the agent Daniel Hale which reveals it to him. With Nick Savrinn, it then begins a research deepened to detect Steadman. It ends up locating the house in which he lives and leaves to its meeting. In the last episode of the first season, she is finally confronted with Terrence Steadman.

Season 2

Steadman was with the departure little laid out to try to flee of the house, fearing to be assassinated by the Secret services, until Veronica manages to convince it to reconsider its position. Unfortunately the efforts of Veronica to reveal in public the existence of Steadman are of short duration. After having called the local authorities, the agents of the secret services hear its message and come to assassinate it. Impotent, Steadman can only look at the agents getting rid of the body of Veronica.

After having been absent during several episodes, the return of Steadman in the serial constitutes the first confrontation between him and Lincoln Burrows. After Paul Kellerman doubled the Trust and joint his forces with Lincoln and Michael, the Kim agent orders that Steadman is put in sure place in another house, suspecting that Kellerman would like to capture it. However, just at the moment when the agents prepared to escort Steadman elsewhere, Kellerman and the two brothers arrive. Kellerman kills the two agents and captures Steadman. They brings it in a hotel room, where they project to keep it before joining Washington.

However, the mockeries of Steadman on the feelings which test Kellerman for the President Reynolds explode Lincoln, which remembers the death of Veronica. It points a weapon on the face of Steadman and is brought back to the reason by Michael and Kellerman, who make him understand that they need alive Steadman. The behavior of Lincoln pushes Michael to be decided to give their localization to a television channel in the hope which the police force finds Steadman. Unfortunately, right before the arrival of the police force, Steadman excuses themselves for all and draws a ball in the head with one from the revolvers of Kellerman to escape a custodial sentence.

Steadman is also seen in a flashback, when the contents of a conversation recorded between him and its sister two weeks after her death are revealed. The conversation strongly suggests that they maintained the incestueuses relations.
