Termonde
Termonde (in Dutch Dendermonde ) is a common city and Dutch-speaking of Belgium located in Flemish Région, chief town of district in the Province of Flanders-Eastern.
The city is located at the confluence of the the Scheldt and the Dendre from where its Dutch name Dendermonde who means mouth of Dendre . It is located at the center of the triangle Brussels - Antwerp - Ghent (the zone densément populated Belgium), and is the center of a conurbation (with the communes of Buggenhout, Hamme, Lebbeke, Lokeren, Waasmunster and Zele) approximately cash 170.000 inhabitants.
Norbert De Batselier (Sp.a) is the mayor of Termonde since 1995.
