The commune accommodates a hydropathic establishment which functioned until in 2001 to exploit subterranean water in sulfurous matter for the treatment of certain affections which gave its name to the city (obviously, the proximity with the thousand-year-old baths of the town of Dax has a subjacent hydrological significance.
