Tenthredinidae

This family of Hyménoptère S phytophagous is made up of the following subfamilies:

  • Allantinae
  • Blennocampinae
  • Heterarthrinae
  • Nematinae
  • Selandriinae
  • Tenthredininae

The tenthrèdes are very varied in form and color. They are often marked like wasps but the absence of contracting between the thorax and the abdomen makes it possible to differentiate them. As they cannot prick, this phenomenon is classically interpreted like a typical case of imitation.
