Tenskwatawa
Tenskwatawa (C. 1768 - 1834) was an Amerindian religious leader Shawnee called the prophet . With died of his father, a warrior shawnee, it is high with his brothers by his older sister because his/her mother of origin Creek chooses to turn over in her tribe in the south. It damaged one of its eyes while playing with an arrow in its childhood.
Following an accident in 1805 which left it temporarily unconscious, It claims to receive message of the `' Main of the Life'' and becomes famous by preaching a mystical revival of the Amerindian faith. He recommends the return the made-to-order to live ancestors and with his/her brother Tecumseh tries to constitute a confederation of the Indian tribes of the Canada to the Florida.
In November 1811, in the absence and against the opinion of his/her brother, it starts the combat with Tippecanoe against the army states-unienne ordered by William Henry Harrison, the future ninth president of the the United States. It is beaten there, its warriors, supposed being protected from the balls under its protection, undergoing heavy losses there.
