Tennis with the Olympic Games of summer of 2008

The tests of Tennis of the Olympic Games of summer of 2008 will take place of the 10 to the August 17th 2008 within the Olympic Green Tennis Centers with Beijing in China.

Simple Double Sirs

Calendar

Format

The tables of simple masculine and female are made up each of 64 players and the tables of double are composed of 32 teams. The meetings proceed with best of the three handles, except for the finales men (simple and double) which dispute with best of the five sets.

Each meeting is with direct elimination. The two losers of the semi-finals meet in a match for the bronze medal.

Qualification

Each country can engage to the maximum 6 male competitors and 6 female competitors, with a maximum of 4 engaged by table of simple, and 2 pairs per table of double. A tennis player (or a tenniswoman) can take part the proof simple and of double.

Many players classified to the IFT
