Tennis with the Olympic Games of summer of 1984
After the Olympic Games of 1924 in Paris, the Tennis knows a long eclipse until its return in demonstration to Los Angeles in 1984, except the rather confidential meetings which were held with Mexico City in 1968, at the end of an arm wrestling between the International federation of tennis and the International Olympic committee.
The tables (simple ladies and simple Sirs) each one are made of 32 players, exclusively old of less than twenty years.
The matches proceeded within the Los Angeles Tennis Centers , over courts into hard, from August 6th to 11th.
Steffi Graf and Stefan Edberg, future world's leaders (respectively in 1987 and 1990), took down the gold medal.
