The Tenka Ichi Budôkai (in Japanese  : 天下一武道会, translated championship of the world of martial arts and other alternatives of this name in the televised series and the former editions of the manga) is a competition which takes place on several occasions in the Manga Dragon Ball .

E E tournament

It is first Tenka Ichi Budôkai to which share Its Gokû and its school-fellow Krilin take, still children. It find there their friend Yamcha with whom they had made team some time before in the fight against the king Pilaf.

Yamcha and Krilin are beaten respectively into 1/4 and semi-final by a mysterious old man, Jacky Chun, which is in fact Kamé Sennin, this one being disguised in order to make sure that its pupils do not gain the too young tournament. Finally, Gokû is also inclined against Jacky Chun, but of accuracy.

E E tournament

Sangoku, Krilin, Yamcha, and Jacky Chun take part again in Tenka Ichi Budôkai, but among the other competitors appear Ten Shin Han and Chaozu.

In 1/4 of finale, Yamcha is seriously wounded with the leg by cruel Ten Shin Han, while Krilin is demolished with difficulty of Chaozu. In semi-final, Jacky Chun, incompetent to take the measurement of Ten Shin Han, decide to give up the combat. The other semi-final opposes Its Gokû and Krilin. Gokû is this time quite higher than its school-fellow and gains the combat without having too much to draw from its reserves. But finally, the pupil of Sennin Kame is again overcome by bad luck (indeed, after a fight keen the two adversaries fall towards the ground, normally Its Gokû was to touch ground after Ten Shin Han, but a car passes to him in front of at the bad time and throws it on the ground), then Ten Shin Han will excuse himself at Yamcha and will integrate the band of friends with Chaozu.

E E tournament

Its Gokû, Krilin, Yamcha, Ten Shin Han, and Chaozu still take part in this Tenka Ichi Budôkai.

At the time of the quarterfinals, Ten Shin Han is confronted with CAT Feeds Feeds transformed into Robot, and which beat Chaozu during the qualifications, but he manages to overcome it easily. Its Gokû must face Chichi, which he does not recognize initially, but at the end of a discussion throughout the combat, they decide to marry. Krilin must deal with Piccolo, and cannot anything against him, while Yamcha is beaten in a ridiculous way by Shen, which is in fact Kami-sama under a human appearance.

At the time of the semi-finals, Its Gokû is shown this time stronger than Ten Shin Han and ends up gaining the combat. Kami-sama, which wanted to imprison Piccolo in a bottle, is made take with its own trap and thus loses the combat.

Finally, Gokû succeeds in releasing Kami-sama of the bottle, then, at the end of a fierce combat, it leaves victorious this championship but survives of little. For this day the tournaments have been stopped until Cell has the idea to start again it has its way.

Concealment Range

It is not a true official tournament because it is organized by Cell for its personal pleasure, however all the heroes will take part in it. Néanmois it is this idea of Concealment which will make it possible to start again the official tournament which was stopped 15ans before during the confrontation goku-picollo jr.

E E tournament

Even if it is Cell which started again the idea of world tournaments of martial arts with its Concealment-Range 3ans earlier, this tournament is regarded as the resumption official of Tenka Ichi Budôkai since the adverse combat Small-Heart in Its Goku 18ans earlier. None the heroes takes part in this tournaments. This one is gained by Mr. Satan, and its daughter Videl in the junior category.

E E tournament

Mr. Satan gains this Tenka Ichi Budôkai after having had to promise with C-18 that it will leave him the premium of the winner.

In the junior category of this tournament, Its Goten and Trunks clash finally. Trunks overrides Goten, of which it is the groin of a few months.

Not shown in animates or the manga, but it is known that Mr. Satan gains and Buu arrives second.

The last of the manga Dragon Ball , Its Gokû leaves with Oob to involve it.

This Tenka Ichi Budôkai is held during the televised series Dragon Ball WP making following the manga, right before the saga Super C-17. Its Gokû arrives second of the children category, and Mr. Satan gains vis-a-vis Papayaman (Oob disguised) finally adult. Side gives up because it is afraid to resemble Satan.

62eme (?) tournament

At the any end of Dragon Ball WP , Its Gokû Jr and Végéta Jr fight on famous boxing ring 100 after the departure of Shenron and Its Gokû.
