Ten
Ten is a Opérateur of virtual mobile network renting the network of Orange.
Telephone company CGBC, financed in particular by AXA Private Equity (funds of French capital-investment), is the head office of this operator created in January 2006 by Jean-Louis Constanza, president of the directory. Ten thus became the 11th MVNO on the French market.
Its main target of customers is the Net surfer: thus Ten proposes, included in each fixed price voice, an unlimited access three usual addresses e-mail (synchronization of the emails every half-hour, push email with Pocket Outlook), with Windows Live Mail (ex-Hotmail) and with Windows Live Messenger (ex-MSN Messenger).
Since February 22nd, 2007, all the Ten subscribers have an access unlimited Web since their mobile by using mini Opera, the only condition is it “to fair uses” (not to misuse the service).
In spite of several advertisements on the blog of Ten announcing the restriction of this service on a certain number of subscribers, or the end of the service on April 1st, 2007, it seems for the moment that it is always possible for the new subscribers to benefit from it free.
Ten provides also services of access to the blogs and navigation Internet on the mobiles.
Ten is the only operator to propose such options. Bouygues Telecom and the agreement of mark Universal Mobile propose accesses to Windows Live Messenger, but their free accesses email are limited at addresses @imode.fr.
Ten concentrates on simple services and of use easy. Its goal is to democratize the email and the mobile Internet.
