Temporal Os
The temporal bone or squamosal is a even Os Crâne located in the area of the Tempe, on the side part of the head. It takes part as well in the formation of the vault as the base of the cranium (cranial pits average and posterior). It accommodates also the Articulation temporo-mandibulaire. It is a complex bone resulting from the meeting of three bones: the scale, the rock and the tympanal.
Inside the rock, is a cavity, the Drum of the ear sheltering the ossicles, and the vestibular body cochléo.
