Temple of Dwarka

The temple of Dwarka is a temple hindouist vishnouist of the India.

According to the legend, it would have been built in only one night by the grandson of Krishna. Actually the major part of the temple would have been built under the reign of Akbar. Some older parts were dated from the 15th century. The entry of the temple faces north. Its principal body consists of five stages supported by 60 carved columns.

Each year, the birthday of the birth of Krishna is celebrated there with ostentation.
