Temne

The temne (or themne ) is a Atlantic Langue of the family of the nigéro-Congolese Langues, spoken in the province about North in Sierra Leone by nearly a million and half to anybody like native tongue, and per less than one million like common language. It is the language of the Peuple temne.

Writing

The temne is written with the Latin alphabet. There were different conventions orthographical but the schools of Sierra Leone uses only an orthography now. The alphabet is based on the African Alphabet of reference with digraphs.

Old orthographies use the ȧ/Ȧ (has with superscribed point) instead of ʌ/Ʌ.
