Tembo Taboo

Tembo Tabou is an album of Cartoon, the twenty fourth of the series the adventures of Spirou and Fantasio. In addition to the principal adventure, it contains a little story putting in scene the hunter Bring M.Backalive of the series of the Marsupilami like various gags with the animal.

Synopsis

Spirou and Fantasio seeks to join the écrivan American Thirstywell in the African jungle. On the spot, they discover its trampled camp, and by seeking traces, they meet red elephants, which quickly prove to be painted. Thereafter, they come into contact with Pygmies of the surroundings, which acknowledge to them to have a strong quantity of gold, and which gangsters threaten them with the elephants if they refuse to pay a certain gold tribute regularly.

The two heroes discover the camp of the gangsters and are made prisoners, but the Pygmies, inspired by their courage, come to save them and allow the capture of the gangsters. In the camp, they also discover captive Thirstywell, because the criminals were wary of him.
