Temari

Originating in China, and introduced with the Japan there are five or six hundred years, the temari in the beginning was intended to make Balle S for children starting from remainders of Soie of old man Kimono S. With time, the Couture S became embroidery, increasingly fine and complicated. Losing their role of toy of children arrived the arrival of the rubber, the balls temari became objets d'art, Cadeau X of the New year, Porte-bonheur.
Traditionally, the balls temari were offered to the Enfant S by their relative S at the time of the New year. While making the ball, his/her mother had placed inside a small piece of paper on which a Vœu for his/her child was registered. Other balls could contain a grelot, where grains of rice, “to make noise”.
