THE BLAZON OF TELOCHE:
Tiercé in band: as a chief of azure to money star, the gold center to the Gallic sinople helmet, at a peak of mouths to the léopardé gold lion posed in band.
The helmet evokes the Celtic origins of Téloché, the other elements being a recall of the two principal seigniories located, formerly, on the round of applause of the commune.
The money star on bottom of azure is borrowed from the armorial bearings of the PEG LADDER, and the lion finds itself on those of the POSSET
THE PEG LADDER:
Important seigniory which existed already at the time of the crusades, the field was transmitted in 1874 to the Congregation of the Brothers of the Christian Schools which completed important work and set up a noviciate as well as a juvénat where, during nearly one century, were informed and made of many monks.
In 1888, the Congregation built a new vault, of neo-gothic style, capped with a gracious pinnacle - that one can see on the left on the photograph - , to replace the old one.
In 1914, and for all the duration of the conflict, the brothers reflect at disposal of the authorities left the buildings in order to establish a hospital to accommodate the casualties and the convalescents.
Today, the Peg ladder is an old people's home for monk and, since 1973, a college.
To announce that one of the owners of the castle was Louis-Elisabeth of the Alder of Tressan (1705-1783), academician known for his adaptations of chivalrous novels of the Middle Ages.
The small pastoral vault of Notre Dame of the Spine was set up in XVeme century on the place even where the Virgin Mary, in this end of the Middle Ages, made an appearance above a bush hawthorn and predicted the end the war and epidemic plague which devastated the area.
The building presents interesting murals of XVeme.
During very a long time the humble vault was an enthusiasm and place of pilgrimage burning.
