Tellian Atlas
The Tellian Atlas (Arab: الاطلسالتلي) is a mountainous relief mainly located at the north of the Algérie which continues in the Tunisia west.
It is made of an assembly line skirting the littoral and stretching themselves on approximately 7000 kilometers. The mount Lalla-Khadîdja, in Algeria, is the culminating point, it rises with 2308 meters of altitude.
The Tellian Atlas form with the Saharian Atlas, more with the south, two parallel whole of relief approaching while going towards the east. The 2 Atlases tend to merge in the east of Algeria and in Tunisia.
Between these two gigantic natural barriers vast plains and plates, fertile, rich are intercalated by their flora and their fauna. It is in particular about the Vallée of Chélif, of the plain of Sétif, the Mitidja, the valley of the Hodna.
