Tell me stories
Raconte me stories was published by Marshall Cavendish between 1982 and 1985. " Tell me histoires" was launched in 1982 like semi-monthly. Each magazine (and the cassette which goes with) contained a choice of stories for children, of which some were traditional folk tales, tales for traditional children such as Gobbolino, or some modern histories written especially for the series like Tirondin. The series comprised 26 booklets, with 3 supplements of Christmas.
The series was defined as follows: " TELL me STORIES is composed of 26 booklets (of 36 pages) and of 26 50 minute old cassettes, telling each one at least 6 stories. They is thus on the whole, 728 pages of stories, 130 pages of plays and colorings, nearly 200 stories and more than 21 hours of listening… "
The musical illustrations could be the work of Wallerand de Crepy.
