Tell lie

The tale of lie is a history, generally told with the oral examination, built on Contresens, with an indisputable logic but Absurde. Like the Joke, it is “an imagined history from which one tries to make believe”. This practice asks for a great dexterity of language, a strong imagination, a speed of elocution and a great capacity of Improvisation.

These tales can be based on the expression of oppositions:

the blind man saw a hare stealing ,
the dumb man called the deaf person who was penguin ,
That Ci drew,
the bottom of bowl ran to catch hare, '
And said to the last small drainage canal
Which was very naked:
Mets that in your pocket ! ”

a dumb man called to a deaf person that a blind man the spy

The tales of lies can be the occasion of tournaments where the storytellers try to still exceed themselves by capping the lie of the other by a more enormous lie. It also makes it possible to the storyteller to invite his audience to explore the language and to escape its limits. It is finally the occasion to strike truths while carrying to further the form from the lie.

“To affirm impossible things to express the inexpressible one is besides the implicit function of the Conte. The imaginary one is Symbolique there. Fables and marvellous tales is neither more nor less than tales of lies of which the structure preserves a certain logic or convention of narration. ”
