Televerket
Televerket was the name of the historical operators of Télécommunication in Norway and Sweden. They are two distinct companies and that, if they have the same name, it is that he means “the télécoms” in Norwegian and in Swedish.
Televerket in Norway took its current name of Telenor in 1994, when it changed statute. Before being called Televerket, it bore the name of Telegraphverket, its creation in 1855 until 1969.
Televerket in Sweden took the name of Telia in 1993, then its current name of TeliaSonera, during its fusion with Finnish Sonera in 2002.
