Telemaco Signorini
Telemaco Signorini (Florence, August 18th, 1835 - Florence, February 10th, 1901) is an Italian painter of the verist movement of the Macchiaioli at the 19th century.
Biography
It begins its training close to his father, Giovanni, painter at the court of the large-duke, and attends the courses of drawing to the Académie of Beautiful arts of Florence.Accustomed Michelangelo Coffee, it binds friendship with Odorado Borrani and Vincenzo Cabianca, with which it often paints in sport.
In 1856, it goes to Venice where it carries out various drawings of the churches and palate.
Protagonist in the group of the Macchiaioli, in 1858 it leaves in Ligurie in research inspirations on the luminosity in his tables, ends to strong contrasts of black spots and clear zones, immediate impressions of the shade and light, by giving up the fragmented key which animated the drafts of tables of history.
