Telefilms of the Chameleon
This article presents the guide of the telefilms of the Feuilleton televised the Chameleon ( The Pretender ).
It was initially envisaged four telefilms, but following a bad audience, only two were produced.
Episode 1: Chameleon against Chameleon

- Résumé : Jarod, Ethan and Miss Parker survived the crash landing of the subway. Miss Paker has visions of her mother. Edward Ballinger, a friend of Jarod, that with which it was flees of the center, another chameleon, currently agent of the NSA, was wounded seriously by a terrorist .
M. Parker, which killed Raines in the preceding episode, disappeared. Lyle with recovered the inch of Mr. Raines.
Jarod joined the NSA to take part in the investigation. It proves that they are after a killer who is called the chameleon .
Miss Parker hears TT and considers that it is a piste.
Le Chameleon plays with Jarod, sending indicies to him indicating that it knows which it is really. The investigation of Jarod the pleasing one even with the accesses of Center.
On learns that Raines did not die, and other revelations will be made in the episode. - Comment : The episode starts with a slide show where a man present at the another all protagonistes.
Jarod speaks about the language Apache as that being used like encoding against the Japanese by the Americans during the Second world war. It was acted in fact of the language Navajo, this coarse error is all the more curious as it speaks about it with NSA in their reproaching for not knowing this anecdote of the History. This anecdote was popularized besides later by the film Windtalkers with Nicolas Cage.
En VO, it is the term pretender which is used to indicate Jarod and those which have same faculties that, translated for him by chameleon into VF. However, in this episode, the NSA is after a killer who is called (in VO) Chameleon .

- Résumé : The searchs for Jarod and Miss Parker in parallel lead them to the island of Carthis, with broad of the Scotland. It is a mysterious island where old a always occupied Monastère is. Jarod is accommodated there as a visitor. A storm is announced, and the island must be evacuated. Jarod sees his/her mother, then Miss Parker unloads on the island. Both endeavor to find the first the secrecy of the island. The island is now deserted, the mother of Jarod left, it makes team with Miss Parker to find Relique S, scrolls of parchment equipped with a great capacity. Miss Parker has visions of a little girl.
- Comment : During film, elements are revealed on the true identity of the father of Parker Miss. One also learns why the mother of Jarod hides and which is the nature of its quête.
