A telebreaker behaves like a Interrupteur in an electrical circuit.

Constitution and operation

It is an electromechanical type of Relais ordered by electric Impulsion S. It allows the food of a circuit (for example circuit of lighting of staircase) by one or more pushbuttons. This control device of lighting replaces advantageously the assemblies in to and from because it can comprise an almost unlimited number of control knobs (one is limited in the case of pushbuttons to indicator, since wiring in parallel of the pushbuttons decreases equivalent resistance, and starting from a certain number can generate not desired control commands; in general, one limits oneself to 40 pushbuttons without indicator and 15 pushbuttons with indicator).
  • an impulse (pressure on a pushbutton) puts the telebreaker at the Travail, the latter keeps the closed circuit, until fresh impulse puts it at the Repos.
