Télé Pocket is a weekly magazine of Presse of television French published by Mondadori France. Imagined by the Franco-Italian editor Cino Del Duca, (1899-1967), Télé Pocket is launched the January 12th 1966 by the editions Mondiales (Cora-Révillon group). The magazine holds its name of its format of impression of origin (13,8 X 20,9 cm), twice less large than the traditional magazines. Repurchased by the British group Emap in 1994, Télé Pocket increased its format of 27% in 2005. Since 2006, the weekly magazine belongs to the Italian group Arnoldo Mondadori Editore (group Fininvest) which also publishes Télé Star in France.
During ten years, the magazine remains behind Télé 7 days , then passes in third position of the press of television with the arrival of Télé Star in 1976. With the development of the number of chains and television stations, the magazine reaches the two million specimens in the Années 1980.
The diffusion of the program timetables on other supports (Internet in particular) and the multiplication of the titles of press of television made lose considerable market shares with Télé Pocket since the Années 1990. The arrival in 2004 of the Quinzomadaire S made only accentuate the fold, the busy magazine of a million specimens sold in 2002 to 700.000 in 2006 (9th position). It is to try to stabilize the diffusion that the model and the format were modified in 2005.
