Telšiai
Telšiai ((Telsch) is a town of Lithuania of approximately 35.000 inhabitants. Located on the lake Matsis, it is the capital of the Apskritis of Telšiai and the area of Samogitie.
The lake Matsis is mentioned in nombresues legends. The city owes its name with the Telšė brook which is thrown in this lake. According to a legend the city would have been rested by the Džiugas knight. It appears for the first in documents written time towards 1450.
