Teghazza
Teghazza is an old city of the extreme north of the Mali, famous with the Moyen-âge for its Saline S. It made part of the prosperity of the Empire songhaï of Tombouctou and Gao.
In 1584 - 1585, the Morocco ains of the dynasty of the Saadiens removed Teghazza with the dynasty of the Askia of the Empire songhaï finishing, which transferred the extraction from the salt to Taoudeni, more in the south. The site of Teghazza was thereafter abandoned.
