Tegan and Sara
Tegan and Sara is a group of Musique indie Canadian originating in Alberta. The group is composed of two binoculars, Tegan and Sara Quin. Their music evolves/moves constantly, bathing in the Folk, the Rock and the pop at the same time.
One never knows what will leave the mouth Tegan and Sara. According to an old family legend, their first word whereas they were baby was one of four letters. The only difference is that today, people pay to hear what they have to say and it is the case of the new album “So Jealous”. Produced by Tegan and Sara with the assistance of John Hakes, David Carswell and Howard Redekopp, “So Jealous” was recorded in Vancouver.
Tegan and Sara are originating in Calgary, the first lives Vancouver now whereas second is established in Montreal. Among the dreams which Tegan cherished whereas it was small, it wished to become clown, become veterinary surgeon for the polar bears of the Arctic and to become rock'n'roll star. Surprisingly, Sara wanted to settle in Boston to be lawyer there.
The duet on the occasion to divide the scene with many formations with the passing of years and also launched the albums “Yew It Was You” (2002) and “This Business off Art” (2000).
Their last album, So Jealous , was very received by criticisms.
The exit of their next album " The con" is planned for on July 24th, 2007.
Their song I Know, of So Jealous, was played in the series " Veronica Mars" and their song Cal It Off, of The Idiot, was played in the series Grey' S Anatomy in the episode " Forever Young" season 4.
