Teenage Caveman is an American telefilm carried out in 2002 by Larry Clark.

Synopsis

In an post-apocalyptic future, the few survivors of a world natural disaster survive in caves, incomes with the Stone Age. The physical love is proscribed, regarded as a degradation of the human one. The Old world, that of technology, are not any more whereas one distance idealized memory. A handle of teenagers escape from the tribe, avoiding with the one as of their unquestionable death. At this point in time they are collected, in the vestiges of civilization passed, by two young people.

  • Teenage Caveman takes as a starting point the film éponyme of 1958, produced by Samuel Z. Arkoff and carried out by Roger Corman. The intrigue is however very different.
  • This telefilm belongs to an anthology produced by Stan Winston, Lou Arkoff and Colleen Camp in 2001 which pays homage to films of monsters of years 1950. It is also a window to propose the studio of special effects of Stan Winston, famous to have given to films with large spectacle of fakings of anthology (Terminator, Jurassic Park, AD INTERIM Artificial intelligence,…). The creatures are truly the stars of this anthology, which also includes/understands She Creature, Earth Vs. the Spider, The Day the World Ended and How to Make has Monster.
  • Larry Clark signs here its first incursion into the kind of the horror. The leg of the author is despite everything quite present: it is before any question of a history of teenagers in contact with sexuality and drugs, empêtrés in conflicts which they do not have maturity to manage.
  • Two of the actors of Ken Park , turned by Larry Clark in 2002, is present: Tiffany Limos and Stephen Jasso.
