The falls Boyoma , known in the past under the name of Stanley Falls or falls Stanley , consist of a succession of seven Cataracte S following one another on more than 100 km on the Lualaba since Ubundu until Kisangani (in the past Stanleyville) in Orientale province of the Democratic republic of Congo. It is at the end of these falls that Lualaba takes the name of Congo.

These falls have one of the most important flows in the world, with more than 17 thousand meter-cubic a second, with an uneven total of 60 meters.
