Thierry Benoit known as Ted Benoit is a Dessinateur Scénariste and of Cartoon French born the July 25th 1947 with Niort.

After studies of Cinema to the IDHEC (Institute of the high cinematographic studies), he becomes realizer for the television which he then gives up for the drawing. He is a large admiror and follower of the graphic style of the clear Ligne instituted by Hergé and Edgar P. Jacobs.

Its first album Hospital (with the Associated Humanoïdes), receives the price of the scenario to the Festival of Angouleme 1979. It also takes part in the resumption of the series Blake and Mortimer.

It publishes in " to follow " the adventures of Ray Banana, which will be the subject of an Electric album Berceuse (Casterman - 1982).

Ted Benoit is member of the Crayon , association of draftsmen.
