Technorati is a Search engine on Internet specialized in the field of the Blog S .
In August 2006, Technorati indexed some more than 50 millions.
Technorati was founded by Dave Sifry and has its head office with San Francisco in California, with the the United States.

Open source

Technorati uses and contributes to the free software. Technorati has an active community of developers of which much is free culture source code. Dave Sifry is itself a large defender of the cause of the source code libre.
Technorati includes/understands a public wiki for the developers, where the developers and the contributors can collaborate like different application program interfaces (API) open.
