Technological baccalaureat

The technological baccalaureat is a French graduate who sanctions a formation combining general culture and technological. It prepares in two years in a college after a class of second general and technological, but it is also possible to prepare this diploma after a patent of professional studies (B.E.P.) while passing by a Première of adaptation.

Certain technological baccalaureats make following one second specific:

  • the Baccalaureat techniques of the music and the dance (TMD) which prepares partly with the academies. The selection is in general severe and requires, in addition to a good base of general knowledge (Literature, History-Geography…), a good level of control of the instrumental technique or dance.
  • the Baccalaureat Hotel trade preparing with the management of the sector hotel trade/restoration/tourism

Outlets

The technological vat prepares more, today, with the continuation of studies that to immediate employment. The large majority of these graduates move towards higher education, primarily worms of the studies of high-level techniciens (BTS and HAD) adapted well to their basic technological formation and possibly worms of the professional licenses and beyond (masters…).

Although some continue their studies at the university, they must know that the rate of failure of the technological graduates at the end of the 1st year is high (very theoretical training). They must thus be justified and workers and get information about the die which they aim.
