Teamspeak is a Logiciel owner of audioconference on Internet (Voix on network IP).

General information

TeamSpeak is a Logiciel which makes it possible to dialog with several other users at the same time via a Connection Internet: it is about a vocal cat . For that, each person must have installed on her computer a special application (customer). With the latter, it can be connected to the thousands of TeamSpeak waiters and enter a room of discussion. This system is used much in the network games and makes it possible to the various players to be able to evolve/move in the play by giving itself information. It also makes it possible to record the conversations.

TeamSpeak 3 is under development since 2005 and will be Multiplate-form.

Configuration

TeamSpeak functions under Windows and GNU/Linux (Waiter and Customer). However, there exists a version for Mac OS X, TeamSpeex, compatible (but not officially supported) with the Windows version.

Use

TeamSpeak, for example, is used on the virtual networks of flight simulation (IVAO) for the voice communications between the pilots and the controllers.

It is as often used on the network games type MMORPG, STR or plays of shooting to the first nobody, to communicate more quickly as in mode text, system by defect very often too slow to be able to react rather quickly.

To use Teamspeak, it is necessary to be connected to a Teamspeak waiter. You can logger on the waiter of somebody or yours or to create one of them. There is many site which proposes waiter temspeak (often paying), but there are also the free ones.
