Tchimgan

Tchimgan or Chimgan ( Uzbek Chimiyon in , Russian Чимган in ) is a site of holiday and a station of going Ski located at the altitude of 1800 to 3309 m in the picturesque accesses of the peak of Tchatkal mountains of the Western part of Tian Shan, with 80 kilometers in the east of Tachkent, capital of the Ouzbékistan.

Tchimgan offers a magic beauty to any moment of the year. The season of ski lasts here from December 20th to April 5th with dry snow. Tchimgan attracts also the amateurs of nature with his single reserve of Ougham-Tchatkal made up of the sites of Bachkyzylsaï (Boshkyzylsoy) and Maïdansaï (Maydonsoy). The first site is located in the south-western part of the chain of Tchatkal, the other, vaster, more in north.

To 4 km of Tchimgan is the complex of ski Beldersaï (Beldersoy) with longest Téléphérique in Central Asia (more than 3 km length culminating to 2880 m). Here, the season of snow is longer than in Tchimgan (November at May) and the sporting installations are professional level (approved by the International federation of ski).
