Tawhid

The term tawhîd (rear RTL تَوْحيد, monotheism ) is the main thing ensignement Coran and the central dogma of the Islam which proclaims the religion of the strict Monothéisme.

Principles

The assertion of the unicity of God ( wahdânîya Allah ) is the first obligation of the Musulman when he pronounces the formula of the profession of faith (Chahada). This assertion comes in contradiction with the Dualisme from the zoroastriens where the divinity Ahura Mazda has a double malefic Ahriman which is responsible for the creation of the matter. Allah is single and is the single origin of creation (wahda Al-wujûd). This assertion wants to also contradict the Christian dogma trinitaire regarded by the Coran as Polythéisme. This proclamation of single God was a reaction to the worships polytheists which knew Mecque with the VII {{E}} century.

The opposite of the Tawhîd term is the term Shirk or " sin of association". Tawhid implies that the worship of God must be exlusive.

Coran teaches that God (Allah) is the Single Guard and the Single Provider. God does not delegate his powers to simple mortals and, it does not exist any intermediary between the faithful one and God, that it is for the question of the faith or the question of forgiveness. No need for human witness or any baptism to convert with Islam, it is enough to pronounce the Chahada or declaration of faith. As for the repentance, faithful the address directly to God. There too no need for intermediary.
