Taven

Taven is a fictitious character of video game in the series of the plays of combat '' Mortal Kombat ''.

In connection with Taven

Taven is one of the two new characters of the play Mortal Kombat: Armageddon with his/her brother Daegon. He is the son of the guard of the kingdom of Edenia, Argus, and of a priestess who created a surpuissant being of fire, Delia. It is the hero whom the player directs during all the Konquête mode.

History

To save the kingdoms of Armageddon, the parents of Taven and Daegon déciderent to place an immense capacity in the armours of their sons and to deaden them until the desired moment. When they would awake, their task would be to find their respective armor and to beat the demon which them mother had created: Blaze, by doing this, the capacity contained in their armor would release and put a term at the growing thirst for blood of the warriors of Mortal Kombat. One was all to kill them, the other would deprive them of their capacities, but none of the two brothers knew which capacity it had in him. Taven awoke one day and was thus sent to the temple of his/her father by his dragon, Orin, to begin its search. This one will bring it Botan Jungle until Outworld, while passing by the residence of the clan Ninja Lin Kuei, the reference mark of the Red Dragon, etc…

He will discover that his/her Daegon brother was awaked prematurely since good a long time that him and that he made use of his own dragon, Caro, to create gates towards the various kingdoms. This last reveals to him that Daegon killed his/her parents. Taven thus launches out to its continuation and faces it in a titanic combat, Blaze appears and explains to him that the two brothers were not judicious to fight and that it must finish its search by beating it. Taven thus faced Blaze in Mortal Kombat and triumphed over its ultimate adversary, but oddly, the capacity contained in its armor did not start, the search had failed…

Characteristics of combat

Blow special in Konquête mode

Fireball : Taven launches a fireball able to burn several adversaries at the same time and to kill them in only one blow
Frappe on the ground : Taven takes its dash while jumping in the air and strikes the ground of its fist while falling down, makes steal the adversaries.
instantaneous Displacement : Taven rotates quickly before traversing a long distance, ideal to escape enemies.
Stop of time : With this ultimate special attack, Taven can solidify all the surrounding enemies and can take his time to make them undergo the treatment which it wishes.

Around Taven

In certain trailer cards, Taven was indicated under the name of " Bob".
Taven carries a tattooing of dragon on the right-sided of the face.
In the vidéos débloquables in Mortal Kombat Armageddon, one can see that Taven was to permanently carry its sword on him behind its back, and that its principal weapon owed at the origin being an arc, it could in particular make use of it in semi-objective sight to draw from the arrows on the enemies. None of these two ideas was kept in the final play.
