Tavaux
Tavaux is a common French, located in the department of the the Jura and the area Franche-Comté.
Geography
Tavaux is composed of an industrial district (Tavaux Cités) related to the Belgian chemical plant " Solvay" built in 1930 and of a older village (Tavaux Village), dating at least from the XVIIeme century. Between the two since 1950 a third district developed: " Mulotte".

- the Aéroport of Pares - Tavaux is the principal airport of the department. It is managed by the Chamber of commerce and of industry of the Jura;
- the factories Solvay are partly on the commune. The most factory chimney reaches the 92 m in height. It is about the greatest site of the Solvay group, covering close to 3000m ².
